Requirement of Binary Number System

What is Binary Number System?

  • It is the combination of 0's and 1's.
  • Each decimal number or letter is combination of multiple 0's and 1's.

Usage of Binary Number System:

  • In electronics Binary "0" is represented as OFF, where "1" is represented as ON.
  • Each electronic device in mother board make there functionality by set of  binary numbers.
  • When ever ever it is 0 the electronic devices are shutdown.
  • The power supply in electronics is done by transistors, transistor works on the bits mechanism.

Binary Number in Data Storing Devices:

  • Every we store in the Storage Devices stored in the form of the binary numbers.
  • Electronic device which used to write data writes data when there is 1.

Binary Number in Signals:

  • Signals now used for the telecommunication are digital signals.
  • Digital Signals are set of the 0's and 1's.
  • Comparing the waves with the 0's and 1's, high peak represents the "1" and low peak represents the "0".

Letters in Binary Number are denoted by the ASCII codes.
Letters,Punctuation are represented from 0 to 127.
Capital Letter ranges from 65 to 90.
Lower Case Letter Ranges from 97 to 122.
Space is given as 32.
