Primary Colors:
- These are the colors used for making set of other colors.
- These are colors that cannot be created through mixing of other colors.
Secondary Colors:
- These are the colors obtained by mixing the any two primary colors.
There are several types of primary color:
Light (RGB):
- Primary colors are Red, Green and Blue.
- These Primary colors are used in the light emitting devices or light ray tubes.
- These are the best primary colors of Human Eye.
- Formation of Secondary colors:
Red + Green = Yellow
Red + Blue = Magenta
Blue + Green = Cyan
Printing (CMY):
- Primary colors are Cyan, Magenta, Yellow.
- For printing purpose we use this colors.
- Formation of Secondary colors:
Cyan + Magenta = Blue
Yellow + Magenta = Red
Cyan + Yellow = Green
Regular Colors (RYB):
- Primary colors are Red, Yellow, Blue.
- These are regular colors that we use.
- Regular primary colors are used by artists for painting.
- Formation of Secondary colors:
Red + Yellow = Orange
Red + Blue = Purple
Blue + Yellow = Green
