Antialiasing

Aliasing :

• Formed due to displaying high image in low resolution.

Jaggies :

• Jaggies are box or staircases occurs in decreased image pixel.

Anti - Aliasing :

• Adding the match-able light color at the edges of an image.
• In signals its done by matching two different frequency signals.

Anti - Aliasing Filters :

• Filter used before image (image sensors) or signal sample.
• Restricts image pixels or signal bandwidth.

Anti - Aliasing Types :

Commonly Used :

• Graphic Cards in PC and Laptop.
• Video Cards in TVs and Monitors.
