Layout

Page Margins:

• Margin ids nothing space between content and pages.
• It also helps to set the start and end of a content in a page.
• Below are the settings to move on to Margin settings.

• In menu bar click on Layout.
• At first left there is Margin Tab.
• Click on it, drop down list appears.

• Types of Margins

• Normal
• Narrow 
• Wide
• Moderate
• Mirrored
• Custom 

• Normal Margin

• Normal Margin as following margin values.(Top "1" ,Bottom "1", Left "1", Right "1" ) 

• Narrow Margin :

• Narrow Margin as following margin values.(Top "0.5", Bottom "0.5", Left "0.5", Right "0.5" ).  

• Wide

• Wide Margin as following margin values.(Top "1", Bottom "1", Left "2", Right "2" ).

• Moderate

• Moderate Margin as following margin value.(Top "1", Bottom "1", left "0.75", Bottom "0.75").

• Custom

• Custom Margin is used to set the margin of your own.
• Below are custom margin setups 

• Open Layout.
• Click Margin. 
• Click on Custom Settings(Pop Window Appears).
• In Pop UP Window select margins according to your requirement
• If you want to use recently custom margin you can directly select in margin drop down. 

• Mirrored Margin:

• Mirrored Margin makes margin settings interchange for every next page.
• If you set a margin with following values(Left 3", Right 1").
• For second page it changes to (Right 3", Left 1").

Columns:

• Columns are used while printing any notes or magazines or newspapers.
• Following are steps to move on to column settings.

• In Menu Bar open Layout.
• Open Columns Tab.
• Drop down appears select according to your use.

• Below are options in column drop down list. 

• One Column

 A regular document with total of text on page. 

• Two Columns

A document which as to be printed with two columns uses this.  

• Three Columns

 A document which as to be printed with three columns uses this.

• Left Column

This option as two columns(left column as less width, compare to right column) 

• Right Column

This option also as two columns(Right column as less width, compare to left column).

• More column

If you need columns more than three you uses this option.

• Steps to set Multiple Column:

• Click on More Column in layout drop down list.
• In Pop Up write number of columns you want in number of columns.
• You can set manually width of column and spacing between columns
• If you want equal width, just check equal columns tab.
