Layers

• In Photoshop layers are used to combine the different images into single image.
• The picture you open is as background layer.
• You can't combine two background layer pictures.
• Sometimes Layer window, is hidden
• To open Layer Window, Click Windows
• Check Layers.

• At Bottom Right, Layer editing options are available.

• If you click on icons beside the Lock, Icon functionality in image stops.
• Eye icon is show it is used to hide or show image on editing screen.
• Blue highlighted bar indicates that image is under editing.

Example :

• Below I used two pictures to change the background of bike.
• Below is Original image.
• As I want bike background to be changed, cropped the bike.

• Selected the new background I want.

• Moved transparent cropped bike layer into new background layers windows

• Linked the cropped image to the new background layer.
