Alignment

  • If you are typing paragraphs in Ms Word, it is mandatory to follow the alignment according to the requirement.
  • Alignment settings opening.
  • Open Home in menu bar.
  • Move on to paragraph column.
  • You can see all settings of paragraph   
  • There are four types of alignment 
  • Left Alignment
  • Right Alignment
  • Center Alignment
  • Justify Alignment

  •  Left Alignment:

  • Aligns the sentence from left and wraps the words towards right towards right. 
  • Paragraphs are aligned to left alignment by clicking this symbol Button image.

  • Right Alignment:
  • Aligns the sentence form right and wraps the words towards left. 
  • Paragraphs are aligned to right by clicking this symbol Button image.

  • Center Alignment:


  • Aligns the sentence from middle of the page wraps the words to left and right in equal proportion.
  • Words are aligned in horizontal way. 
  • Paragraphs are aligned to center by clicking  this symbolButton image

  • Justify Alignment: 
  • Aligns the sentence towards left and right margin.
  • Space is added in line to fill out the left and right.
  • Last line of paragraph is left aligned.
  • Paragraph aligned in justify by pressing this symbol Button image .

Indent :

  • This is of two types :
  • Decreased(Left) Indent.
  • Paragraph aligned is after the left margin. 
  • Increased(Right) Indent.
  • Some space is given after the left margin and then paragraph started.  

Line and Paragraph Spacing:

  • Line spacing used to make certain space between the lines.
  • Paragraph spacing used to make manual space between the paragraph.
